His Kindness Leads

There is a place where fears vanish,

Striving ceases,

Where chains break,

Burdens fall aside,

Hearts are softened,

Eyes are opened,

And laughter enters in.

A place where wounds are healed,

Identity is revealed,

Love flows freely,

And light shines through.

A kindness beckons,

Calling for all

Saying, “Turn to me,

Let shadows fall,

Forget who you thought you were

Or who I was,

Here I stand for you

My blood was shed for you,

The veil was torn in two,

Oh, how I love you.”

Jesus pulls us in,

With everlasting arms,

Turn to Jesus,

Let His kindness disarm.
